Original era manufacture. A pattern of hat most often associated with the Soldatenbund, yet this example displays several variations.Dark blue wool bodied hat, with white wool piping indicating its wearer formerly served in the Infantry. Black ribbed mohair band with an Army pattern wreath, enlisted patent leather chinstrap, and molded front visor.The interior of the hat displays a standard orange color oilcloth lining, with an unmarked sweatshield. Intact, thin leather sweatband with sound stitching.  The hat is of the pattern for the Soldatenbund yet lacks the normally seen stenciled silver emblem on the lining, and the cap eagle is for the RKB.Overall the condition of the hat is very, very clean, no issues beyond very light wear and use.
