Original era manufacture. Stamped steel enlisted buckle with no markings on the reverse. Mix of steel patina and matt gray paint finish. Veteran bringback.This buckle formed part of the WWII souvenirs of Captain L. Smith, 183rd FA Battalion, which arrived in France in June 1944. The small photo shows Captain Smith in Europe, dated November 1944. The photo is not included in the lot.
