Original era issue. An interesting grouping we discovered during our recent move, buried away in an unopened box for several years. I guess we should move more often. Army pattern Soldbuch issued to an Waffen-SS soldier born in 1910, joined the SS in 1941 and was promoted to Obersturmfuhrer on the 21st of June 1944. Numerous entries, SS-Junkerschule Bad Tolz, issued a Sauer & Sohn 32 automatic pistol serial number 374603, and was awarded the Iron Cross 2nd Class, Black Wound Badge and Eastern Front Medal. He evidently survived the war as a 1947 dated document issued in Regensburg for hand tools was in the back cover of the Soldbuch. Also included is a 1929 dated DRA sports award booklet with photo, BeVo embroidered DRA cloth badge, a 1938 dated Teachers-Assistant document with embossed eagle & swastika and other documents connected to his pre-WWII teaching career. Normal handling and wear, repairs to the cover of the Soldbuch, nice photo of him in an NCO uniform inside the cover.
