Original period manufacture. Zinc cross with traces of its original finish remaining; maker marked on the reverse 3, Wilhelm Deumer.Decent original case, the sides are not broken, however the push button is missing. Original WWII German souvenirs brought home by a US Army 3rdInfantry Division veteran Mr. Robert Gelhoff of Wisconsin. These items were obtained by Mr. Gelhoff during his service in WWII. He served with the 3rdDivision throughout WWII, seeing combat in North Africa, Sicily, Anzio, Southern France and Germany.
