Original period manufacture. A sound example of a wartime produced canteen set. Typical brown wool-felt covering, with a black pigsking leather suspension harness. No moth issues to report regarding the cover, however the seam along the lower edge has opened up about 2.5 inches. Nice olive green painted steel drinking cup with a red interior. Classic WWII German canteen as used by all service branches of the Wehrmacht during the war.
