Original period manufacture. Chrome finished 10 inch blade with the Alcoso logo on the reverse ricasso. The blade isclean with no real issues, just typical scratching from wear, no corrosion issues. Damage free black plastic grips, with a touch of finish loss on the pommel. The guard has some surface bubbling from damp storage. Most of the original black paint finish remains on the scabbard body.This bayonet was one of the German souvenirs brought home by Sgt. L. Willoughby, 89th Chemical Mortar Battalion.
