Original era manufacture. Standard pattern Wehrmacht dress bayonet with a 10 inch chromed finish blade. On the obverse ricasso is the retailers name of Albert Kuhl, Munster-Essen, and on the reverse, the makers logo for Alcoso. Clean blade showing runner wear near the tip. Sound black plastic grips, leather bumper at the base of the blade, brown leather frog indicating possible Luftwaffe use and a black painted steel scabbard with nearly 100% of its paint finish intact. The strap of an NCO faustriemen has been wrapped around the body of thefrog, the strap has broken from age but the stem and ball are present. This was one of the souvenirs brought home from WWII by Pfc. R. Neil, 327th Combat Engineers, 102nd Infantry Division. Purchased from the family
