Original period manufacture. Chrome finished 10 inch blade with the Eickhorn logo stamped deeply into the reverse ricasso. The blade is mirror bright, no staining or corrosion, just a few spots of dried cosmoline. Chrome finished guard and pommel with a semi-matt finish, with some small surface bubbling near the push button. Sound black plastic grips, with no cracks or chips, the blade is not loose.  Dent-free steel scabbard with a black satin paint finish, with about 40% finish remaining. The black leather service quality frog is sound, typical crazing to the surface, and dated 1941.
