Original period manufacture. Chrome finished 10 inch blade with the Eickhorn logo on the reverse ricasso. BN 244 stamped in two places, the pommel and the reverse of the scabbard throat. The blade is clean, displaying normal age and wear. Affixed to the obverse grip plate, is the insignia of the NSKOV. The emblem is of nickeled brass, and looks to be held in place with adhesive. Black painted steel scabbard retaining 90% of it's original finish.
