Original era manufacture. This is a fun thing, one of the items we brought over from Germany, back in the day when we were importing containers full of WWII German items. What you get is a top portion of a 200L fuel drum. Very clear markings, Kraftstoff, Feuergefahrlich, Wehrmacht 1944, which translates to vehicle fuel, fire danger, the rest you already know. Measures about 22 inches across, makes a great wall display.
