Original era manufacture. Standard Wehrmacht issue to all branches during WWII. This example retains its original finish showing wear on the high spots. Original shoulder strap and short strap as well. Upon opening the lid we see a piece of surgical tape with O.Gefr.Otto Timm's name written upon it. Replacement lenses inside the compartment. Removing the gasmask itself we can see an original cleaning cloth and retention spring in place. Molded black rubber facemask marked size 2, blue painted metal eye frames and snout. About as complete an example as one can hope to find today. Normal age and wear overall.
