Original era manufacture. A near complete example of the regulation Wehrmacht issue gasmask of WWII. Steel canister, with a set of replacement lenses in the lid pocket, long and short carrying straps, with a rubberized gas cape bag attached to the long strap. The short strap is complete with its belt hook, and showing a clever period repair to the attaching end. Molded rubber face mask with a complete head harness, but missing the long cloth neck loop. Type written name tag glued to the lid of the lens pocket. This was done on a German typewriter, might be real. The gas cape bag is pliable with period markings, showing a few holes in the fabric. Overall normal age and wear.
