Original era manufacture. A near new example which looks to be size marked 98 on the tip but showing other numbers as well, must have been Monday at the belt factory. Clear markings and date of 42, feldgrau painted steel catch, two original belt loops with D rings were on the belt at the time of our purchase. The belt is very pliable but just a bit stiff from age.
