Original period manufacture. An attractive example with a bright 8 inch plated steel finished blade, real stag grips with a green wool filler in the stud slot. Matching plated finish to the guard and pommel with a peppering of surface bubbling on the back side of the pommel, the lock button operates as it should. Puma log on the reverse of the ricasso, original leather bumper in place at the base of the blade, the point is ever so slightly rounded. Dent free black painted steel scabbard with most of the original finish remaining. Brown leather frog in sound used condition, the stitching is a little weak near the right side rivet.
