Original period manufacture. WWII patriotic postcard by Willrich, featuring an image of Generaloberst von Witzleben. Unused reverse, normal age and wear. Generaloberst von Witzleben would have held an important position in the new German government, had the July 20th 1944 attempt to kill Hitler been successful. He was later tried and executedby hanging,for his role in the assassination attempt.
