Original era manufacture. A large, yet rather lightweight set of optics for their size, original ordnance tan paint finish, with a flip-down sun shield at the front.The optics are a tad murky, but I was able to make out decent detail when viewing out the kitchen window at some local mountains...bit out of collimation as well.Black rubber eye pads which flip-away to the sides with a removable black bakelite eyepiece protector, which attaches to the top of the binocular by a cloth strap.This is a high quality, state-of-the-art optical device for the time, and rather futuristic looking in designScattered wear to the painted surface, but no real damage, missing knobs or pieces.
