German/European WWII Era Pebbled Brass, Double Claw Officers Service Belt

Original period manufacture. Wow! Gotta be for a German general right! Well, maybe, perhaps a Bulgarian mailman. Seriously though, it is intriguing as it is definitely made as a Sam Browne pattern belt, but missing the shoulder strap. Reddish brown leather body measuring 51 inches in length, belt body width 2 inches, the pebbled brass frame buckle measures about 2 x 2.75 inches. On the reverse of the belt is a tapered center strip of leather which holds a brass D ring in place, very German in style. The belt leather is pliable with sound stitching.
