This is a 1/6 plate Ambrotype of a saddlemaker working on a piece using his harness and his tools.He wears a hat and an apron, sits on his saddle making bench in front of a table that holds his tools.Some crazing to the image but it does not detract from the great subject matter.There is a piece of paper affixed to the back of this image with most of a name. He is housed in a half case with matt, preserver and glass.
