A blue wool cloth covered helmet with a cork body, silvered alloy fittings throughout, including the attractive helmet plate surmounted by a Queen's pattern crown.White silk adjustable lining with a wide tan moroccan leather sweatband. Maker label in the top of the interior, Hobson & Sons London. Intact leather backed linked silver chain chinstrap. No mothing to the blue wool cover, the spike is pushed forward slightly and the sides of the helmet are very slightly pushed in from improper storage. A handsome old helmet from a famous regiment.
