Item #62503 : Original era manufacture. An honest combat helmet, near complete, with it's original liner and chinstrap. British manufacture, with a hand stenciled, red, 6-point star on the front. Good paint, with a near intact chinstrap, missing the small connecting strap on one side. During WWI, the soldiers of the 6th Division saw 48 days of combat, and suffered the loss of 386 casualties. They sailed for France in June of 1918. The Sight-Seeing Sixth, It earned it's WWI moniker for having marched more kilometers than any other US Infantry Division during WWI.
