Original era manufacture. Large, 38mm silver Peso coin as minted during the reign of The ill-fated Maximilian of Austria, brother to the Austrian emperor Franz-Joseph. The mint year is 1866, one year before Maximilian lost his empire and his life before a Mexican firing squad. His is quite a tragic story as he was more or less sacrifced to the ambitions of Napoleon III. Normal age and wear.
