Original era manufacture. A very nice example of an all steel construction Indo-Persian Pulwar, or Talwar sword. Polished steel, with a yataghan curved blade measures 30 inches in length tip to guard. The surface of the blade displays an even steel patina, with some areas of light surface pitting. Very delicately tooled steel guard, grip and pommel cap, with a skull crusher projection on the top of the pommel. The surface of the grip and guard appear to have a silver decorative inlay. Definitely not one of the tourist trade swords, this is a high quality, well made sword. No scabbard.
