Original era manufacture. A well made example featuring a 10 inch re-curved blade with gilt decoration on the ricasso in the form of Islamic characters. The grip is of nicely carved bone with decorative rivets.Wooden bodied scabbard, which is covered in stitched hide with a decorative steel point, matching hide belt loop.Normal age and wear.
