Item #68023 : Original period manufacture. This is an interesting stamped brass helmet or pith helmet insignia, which we believe to be from an Italian Bersaglieri unit. The reverse is lead filled, with 8 thin wire attaching prongs. It measures 90 x 102 mm. Pleasing brass patina finish.
