Original era manufacture. Standard S84/98 WWII German bayonet, blade by Clemen & Jung 1938, and scabbard by 42 fnj. The piece has been modified by the Isreali Army by the addition of a muzzle ring and a large slanted bar welded to the reverse of the scabbard to enable the bayonet to be carried on a cartridge belt. Nice blue finish overall, Third Reich waffenamts intact. Really an interesting bayonet when you think about it.
