Original era manufacture. A very clean example with a full length blade and a very clear proof on the ricasso, TA over a crown. The blade is bright and clean, with a few very small nicks in the cutting edge, no corrosion issues.Steel patina finish to the guard and pommel, brown composition grips with the long pattern lock spring.Sound, black leather bodied scabbard with brass fittings. Maker marked TORINO, and dated 1886.
