Original period manufacture. Bright finished steel blade with a nice finish, and very light scattered staining to the surface. Dark brown hard rubber grips, basically sound with no chipping or cracks to the edges. Guard and pommel show an even steel patina with a touch of very light corrosion pitting near the tip. Very sound black leather bodied scabbard with tight stitching, brass throat and chape
