Original era manufacture. Feldgrau wool body with a gold brocade cap band in the rank of Captain. Wire embroidered emblem on the front for Mining Troops. Black visor with a bound edge, and a black patent leather adjustable chinstrap. Wide gray leather sweatband with a blue silk lining, diamond shaped sweat shield with a Trieste makers name.  Mothing on the top and rear edge as shown, not crushed or broken.
