Original era manufacture. This is a different one, Italian in style with certain German features as well. Aluminum bodied canteen with a lace-up, leather reinforced closure strap cover of a woven green net-like material. Aluminum screwcap with an aluminum stopper for ease of drinking. Metal collar around the neck of the canteen with a snaphook for carry. Light staining to the cover but no denting. Screwcap is stuck but just needs a little effort, it is not cross-threaded.
