Original era manufacture. This is an interesting sword, at first glance it is an Italian Navy officers sword, but the blade displays the Italian Air Force emblem. 27 inch chromed steel blade with etched panels on each side. Gilded brass guard with lionhead pommel with crown securing nut. The reverse side of the guard folds down to secure it to the scabbard throat. White painted wooden grip with wire binding. Gilded brass mounted black leather scabbard in good order. Not a particularly high quality sword but all there and in sound condition.
