Original era manufacture. Polished steel blade measuring slightly over 8 inches in length. The blade is bright, with a service sharpened cutting edge, and minor spots of staining along its length. Blue steel guard with a leather bumper at the base of the blade. Nicely carved wooden grip with finger grooves, there are several thin age cracks in the wood, but no chips or other damage; simple polished steel pommel plate.Black painted steel scabbard, dent-free, with about 90% of the original finish remaining.
