Original era manufacture. Plated steel blade measuring 30.5 inches in length, etched panels on each side. The blade runs fairly straight and true, no corrosion issues or nicks in the cutting edges. Black velvet bumper at the base of the blade. Gilded brass guard with a lion head pommel, the small side of the guard folds down and locks onto the scabbard throat. White painted grip bound with triple strand brass wire. Thin leather covering over the steel bodied scabbard, brass fittings throughout. The scabbard throat is loose on the scabbard.
