Item #69971 : Original period manufacture. Rectangular pommel, straight guard, with a blue finished blade without fullers. Typically this bayonet would be found in the late war wooden scabbard, this one is in the standard steel example. The bayonet is very clean, minor age and wear. The scabbard displays typical denting and surface corrosion, it will do as a place holder until you can source the proper wooden one.
