Original era manufacture. Dark brown, perhaps black leather pouch which seems to be based on a German design. Aluminum side stud buttons, closure tag straps are intact. The top and body of the pouch have been pierced for a wide leather hinge, however the pouch was made using two smaller individual hinge straps. Looks proper, the hinge straps and stitching appear period. Two inner compartments for boxes of ammunition. Sound pouch..faint kanji stamps on the lid interior.
