Original era manufacture. Pattern1886 hat with a tall crown, dark blue top with a yellow wool band and piping. Black leather visor with an unbound edge, narrow brown leather sweatband, lining has been removed. There is some scattered mothing to the bottom edge of the hat but nothing terrible. The hat displays quite well, just showing typical age and wear.
