Original era manufacture. A beautiful silver medal with lovely enameling and attention to detail.The suspension displays five-seven-five paulownia flowers above the green leaf suspension. The ribbon has the red-white rosette added in 1886 to help identify the fourth class award from the fifth and sixth class medals.There is a very small chip in the enameling on the reverse of the paulownia leaf, with no other enamel damage that I can see.
