Original era manufacture. A beautiful silver medal with lovely enameling on both sides of the planchet, and Pawlonia leaf suspension. There is some light surface cracking and minor chipping to the tip of the topmost arm of the stars, just below the leaf. You need a magnifying glass to really see it easily. The red enamel disc at center is not damaged, and is very attractive. .The original ribbon is intact, very lightly soiled from handling, with no tears or holes, and its attaching clasp on the reverse. Original lacquered wood case with a purple velvet lining.
