Original era manufacture. A nice, and rather scarce example of the Imperial Japanese Navy, 1st Class Observers (Look-Out) badge in silver and enamel.It measures 36 x 46 mm, with some minor enamel chipping on the left upper edge, and on the top right edge, some light repair. Pleasing silver patina finish to the anchor and reverse, with a gilded silver Imperial chrysanthemum at center.
