Original era manufacture. Pre WWII pattern Japanese enlisted collar insignia in the service color for Veterinary troops. The metal insignia were added postwar by Japanese vendors, in order to make these insignia more attractive to the souvenir-hungry GI's in occupied Japan. Light age and wear.
