Original era manufacture. A very nice quality pre WWII Japanese Army issue enlisted visor hat.Olive wool body with red wool piping and band, sewn black leather visor and an adjustable black leather chinstrap, with plain brass securing buttons.The lining is an open weave cotton with numerous issue stampings and markings, stained from wear. Sound brown leather sweatband which is pulling slightly away from the body in one spot.No major moth issues to report, just a small amount on the rear of the hat above the cap band, almost invisible for display.
