Original era manufacture. Wood framed, leather covered box pack, very 19th century in design. The buckle-on leather shoulder straps are missing, however all of the blanket roll straps are present, and the three closure straps are there, including the large central strap. The leather has stiffened slightly from age, but no dry rot is evident. Scarce pack.
