Original era manufacture. Type 32 enlisted sword, ko model with a blade length of 32 3/4 inches indicating Cavalry use. Matching serial numbers 43413 on blade and scabbard drag. Bright finished blade, straight, with numerous small nicks in the cutting edge towards the tip. Blue steel finished guard and backstrap, Checkered wood grip shows some chipping below the pommel on each side. Blue steel finished scabbard with some very light surface denting.
