Original era manufacture. Summer weight hat with a olive colored cotton top with red wool piping and band. Brass star at center with a patent leather chinstrap and visor. Brown leather sweatband with a muslin lining with clear issue stamps. There is some scattered mothing to the band and piping, but nothing out of the ordinary for a near 100 year old hat. Size about a 6 3/4.
