Original period manufacture. An interesting ribbon bar, two place, as worn by a WWII Japanese veteran who was awarded the Sacred Treasure 7th or 8th Class, and the ribbon for the 1944 Great East Asia War. Most of the Great East Asia War medals were destroyed following WWII, with original examples now being very scarce. Additional examples were produced unofficially in the 1960's for wear by veterans.
