Original era manufacture. Black painted cast iron body, with faint white painted kanji on the base. Repainted red top portion, which easily unscrews. About 80% of the original paint finish remains on the body. The brass safety cap is missing, however the steel safety pin and pull string is intact. The interior of the grenade is filled with an inert epoxy for display.  No Explosives, US sales only. .
