Original era manufacture. Black painted cast iron body, with  a painted red top portion, which easily unscrews. Only a portion of the brass fuse assembly remains intact.The body has been repainted with areas of surface pitting which indicate that this is likely a postwar field recovered example. Very sound, completely empty of all explosives.
