Original era manufacture. Terri called this one the deluxe model, perhaps because of the leather case. Nice quality overall with a nickel finished handset with a spare mouthpiece and a Morse Code signal device in the adjacent compartment. Attached to the handset is a separate smaller cord with a plug device to attach to the conventional Field Telephone unit. A preivious owner placed a paper label in the inside lid giving a basic translation of the manufacturers information and date. The leather case is very sound with belt loops on the reverse for carry.
