Original era manufacture. Aluminum, multi-piece construction with a brass mounting pin and star. Shows normal age and wear. Worn by company grade Imperial Army officers. At the time of our purchase this badge was missing its brass star. Years ago we had purchased a small horde of WWII Japanese brass rank & collar devices. After looking through our little pile we were pleased to find a brass star which fit perfectly...sometimes it just works out.
