Original era manufacture. A nice quality, Japanese Army Officers dress sword, Company Grade, with a clean 29 inch chrome steel blade. The blade is of good quality than most, showing light age and wear, with a leather bumper at the base. Ornate cast brass guard in the pattern for a company grade officer, horn grip with triple strand wire binding. Set into the base of the back strap is an oval shaped silver family Mon. No scabbard.
