Original era manufacture. Standard Japanese Army Officers dress sword, company grade officer, with a clean 3,05 inch chrome steel blade which runs straight and true. The blade is of good quality, showing a few spots of light surface corrosion, with a faux temper line along both sides of the edge. Ornate cast brass guard in the pattern for a company grade officer, horn grip with triple strand wire binding. Plated steel scabbard in clean condition, with no real issues beyond normal age and wear.
